Return Policy

We are confident that you will be happy with your customized product. However, if you receive an incorrect item due to an error on our part (which is a rare occurrence), we are more than happy to assist you promptly in resolving the issue. Please contact us for help.

Non-Personalized Orders:

You have 30 calendar days from the date of receipt to return your item.

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.

  • Return shipping is at your expense, and original shipping costs are non-refundable. If your item was shipped with "free shipping," a 20% restocking fee will apply.

Personalized Orders:

Every item is customized specifically for you. Therefore, returns and exchanges are only accepted in the event of an error on our end. If you receive an incorrectly personalized product, please reach out to us, and we will assist you promptly.

How to Return Merchandise:

  1. Please contact our customer service team via email at info@wordswithwood.com with your order number, name, and reason for return.

  2. A customer service representative will reach out to you as soon as possible to confirm your return. Once confirmed, please securely pack the item and attach the provided shipping label to the package.

  3. Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the return status.

  4. If your return is approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method. Return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund, depending on the circumstances.

Customized Items and Wood Products:

Due to the natural characteristics of wood, variations in grain pattern, color, and size are to be expected. These differences are part of the unique nature of each item and are not considered defects. Please be aware that each wooden product is one-of-a-kind, and slight variations may occur. We take pride in these natural characteristics, and they contribute to the rustic charm of your product.

Delayed Orders:

We understand the frustration delays can cause and strive to dispatch items promptly. However, certain delays may occur beyond our control (e.g., shipping carrier delays). If your order is delayed by more than 3 business days from the estimated delivery date, please contact us, and we will work with you to find the best resolution.

For personalized items, if there are delays outside of our control, we cannot offer a return or refund. However, we are committed to assisting you with alternative solutions, such as expedited shipping for replacement items if needed.
